Once you understand what each line is for, you can delete everything below
and including the dashed line.
Line 1 - Input file: T.A.G. format questionarre file, the file that T.A.G.
creates to store the answers and the user information
when someone answers a questionnarre. Full directory
names are supported, if your using the process as
described in the RUMOR.DOC file set line one to:
C:\BBS\GFILES\RUMORA.TXT, or your own main data files
directory and drive.
Line 2 - Output file: T.A.G. quote/rumor file. An existing file will be
overwritten. This is the file that T.A.G. will read
to display your quote/rumor. If you'd simply like
your rumors displayed during logon just before the
bulletin section, have this field set to your main
data files area with the name TAGQUOTE.MSG or
TAGQUOTE.CLR. Full directory names are supported,
to use standard configuration as described in the
docs please set to: C:\BBS\AFILES\RUMOR.TXT or your
own alternate data files directory and drive.
Line 3 - The string to be inserted before the rumor. Line 3 must exist, if
you don't want anything inserted leave it blank. This area could
be used for a T.A.G. color code, an ansi sequence, or anything
else you could think of. The length is limited to 255 characters
and no, SDR codes do not display.
Line 4 - The rumor header. Leave the line blank to use T.A.G.'s default
"Your quote for today is:" message. Place only a "~" character
to have no message. Or place a "~" character then the message
such as:
~Here is your rumor for today:
Line 5 - The maximum number of lines of input accepted from the user with
the questionarre file. T his number can be of any size but must
match the number of lines of input in the questionnare file for
the program to work properly.
